Accessibility statement

How accessible this website is, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our commitment

Nicier wants everyone to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This website is run by [RAY: legal business name].

What we have done

  • You can use the whole site with a keyboard, and a skip link takes you past the menu.
  • Focus is always visible.
  • Text and controls meet the AA colour contrast ratios, checked with an automated script.
  • Text can be enlarged to 200 percent, and pages reflow without sideways scrolling at 400 percent zoom.
  • Motion respects your device's reduced motion setting, and nothing flashes.
  • Informative images have text descriptions.
  • Forms have visible labels and clear error messages.
  • Mandarin, Pinyin, Spanish and French passages are marked with their language so screen readers can pronounce them.
  • Content and navigation work without JavaScript.

Known limitations

  • Book retailer websites that we link to are run by other companies and are outside our control.
  • Mandarin text is shown in a font installed on your device, so its appearance depends on your device.

Feedback and contact

If you find a problem, or need information in another format, please use the contact form. Tell us the page address, what went wrong, and the device and any assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within [RAY: reply time]. Go to the contact form
