Partner with Paul the Pilot

Airlines, schools, publishers and sponsors: let's explore how Paul's journeys could work with you.

A series built around journeys

Paul the Pilot teaches languages through journeys to real cities. The first three journeys feature English with Mandarin and Pinyin (China), European Spanish (Barcelona) and French (Paris). More journeys and languages are planned. [RAY: add one sentence on what the series is aiming to do and who it is for.]

Who we work with

[RAY: confirm every idea in this block. Remove any you would not consider. The ideas below are drafts to react to, not offers.]

  • Airlines

Paul is a pilot, and every book is a journey, which makes the series a natural fit for travel. Nicier is open to licensing conversations with airlines. [RAY: confirm Paul's role in the story.]

    Draft ideas

    • Licensing the series to an airline for in-flight reading and entertainment for young passengers, with an annual licence per airline [RAY: confirm this wording. Do not show fees or income].
    • Travel-themed content for families. [RAY: add or remove.]
  • Educational organisations

Each book puts English alongside a new language, so schools and educational organisations can explore how the books might support language learning in the classroom and at home.

    Draft ideas

    • Classroom reading and language activities.
    • Resources for teachers [RAY: only if they exist].
    • Talks or events [RAY: only if you offer them].
  • Publishers

Paul the Pilot is open to publishing and distribution conversations.

    Draft ideas

    • Wider distribution and retail reach.
    • New editions and further languages.
    • Rights [RAY: say what is available, if anything].
  • Sponsors and other partners

There is room for sponsors and commercial partners who share the series' aim of making language learning fun.

    Draft ideas

    • Sponsoring a new journey.
    • Co-branded or community activity [RAY: only what you would consider].

How a conversation works

  1. Send a message.

[RAY: usual reply time]. He gets back to you to understand your idea.

  3. Explore together.

If it looks like a fit, you talk through what a partnership could look like. [RAY: confirm this process.]
